Dear Church Family,

What a beautiful snow fall we had last week. It affected our attendance but not the Spirit of God. We had a blessing with Chris Read. Chris prayed and asked Jesus Christ into his heart and he came forward to let the church family know. Chris will follow in baptism soon. Don’t forget on Feb 14th, our Men’s Ministry will be hosting a Valentines Banquet in our fellowship hall at 6 PM. This banquet will be a free event and is for all who want to attend. 

Also, on Feb 28th during the 6 PM Sunday service, we will be hosting Marty Haggard. Marty is the son of Meryl and has been in evangelism for many years. He will sing and speak and what a blessing it will be. I hope you invite many friends and family members to come share in this exciting night of praise. Marty is coming for a love offering only.

During our last business meeting a motion was made that I wanted the whole church to have knowledge of. We will vote on this motion this upcoming business meeting Feb 21st in the old business time. The motion reads as follows: 

“If the parsonage is not sold to the people who made the offer, it will be taken off the market. Darin and Amie Johnson will have a one year rental lease on the parsonage for $450.00 per month plus utilities. At years end, Darin and Amie will be given the option to buy. If they cannot or do not choose to buy the parsonage, it will again be placed on the market. All rental monies received will be placed into an account designated for the building of a Family Center Building.”
